Celebration of Life Fashion Show - October 2005
Breast cancer survivors modeled fashions at the ACHLC Celebration of Life Fashion Show at Boscov's Department Store on Tuesday, October 18. The fashion show was one of the feature events for Boscov's Friends Helping Friends Day.
The ACHLC presented its first annual "Shining Star Award" for Breast Cancer Educational Outreach to Carol Threatt. Carol is a postal worker at the Margate Post Office. She was recognized for her continual efforts over the years to provide education about breast cancer to local residents. This promotions occurs during Breast Cancer Awareness Month when the U.S. Postal Service promotes the Breast Cancer Stamp. Her efforts have grown to include other are post offices in the South Jersey shore area.
