Men's Health Expo - June 2007
Men and women came to learn more about Prostate Cancer on Saturday, June 2, 2007. The event featured Dr. Charles E. Myers from Virginia and an expert panel on prostate cancer.
The Atlantic County Healthy Living Coalition hosted a Men's Health Expo dedicated specifically to talk about "What Men and Women need to know about Prostate Cancer" on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Greate Bay Country Club. This event featured Dr Charles E Myers (President, Foundation for Cancer Research and Education Director, American Institute for Diseases of the Prostate, Prostate Cancer Survivor). The event also featured an excellent panel featuring Arnold M. Baskies, MD, FACS (New Jersey Governor's Task Force Cancer Prevention, Early Detection & Treatment) as speaker and panel moderator, Michael J Ginieczki, MD FICS (Administrative Director of Physician Integration and Urologist, Shore Memorial Hospital), Betty Gallo (Dean & Betty Gallo Prostate Cancer Center at CINJ), Charles Kearny & Lee Kearny (Prostate Cancer Survivor & Wife). Other activities included a buffet breakfast, premier health tables and giveaways and prizes. Our speakers were excellent and the public was able to ask tough questions about prostate cancer and treatment to three excellent physicians. It is not everyday that patients get to spend an entire morning with doctors. We appreciate their time, effort and expertise. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped put this event together.
